Slow as a.....

This is how I've been feel these days. Maybe I need to drink more coffee. Like that is even possible.......

My photo for this week's Macros Friday has no special story I guess. This is another photo taken at the zoo.  Jackson found it. He was enjoying the rain on a wall outside the Manatee house. D- and I were almost inside when I hear "Aunt Cindy hurry come here. Take a picture of this!" So I did. With all the exotic animals at the zoo, she gets excited about a snail. COOL!!!! Kids crack me up.

To meet Jackson and see more photos from our trip to the Columbus Zoo, check out We're going to the zoo. How about you?

For more great macros photos, check out Blogging from Bolivia's blog there are some great things there to see.

Kids have a wonderful perspective on life. I suppose we should all strive to see life through the eyes of a child. Good shot of the snail - like the colour of his little house.

Love this!!!! What a great capture. and I love the story behind it. Maybe we should all view things with childlike eyes and see the wonder of it all, exotic or common???

Thanks everyone.. I'm always trying to capture little bugs and creepy crawlies. It's probably a good thing I had a little boy.....

Sage is becoming good at find things for me also. I'm really beginning to enjoy 3. The potty training is a challenge though.

Mama the girls can have all th snails thy want from my garden. =-)

I went to the Zoo two years ago for my anniversary, and I was just as excited to see a little chipmunk that darted across the path in front of us as I was to see the tigers & elephants, so I can understand her enthusiasm! Plus, snails are super cool! ;)

I love this picture, especially how you got him with his feelers fully extended, he looks so cute!
